Architectural Services in London
We offer a comprehensive service from the design, led by our RIBA and ARB registered Architect, to all the documents you need to commence your project; including planning permission, party wall notices and the building works. We ensure all relevant certificates are obtained upon completion.

We understand the struggles of day to day life, balancing work, children and London traffic. Our initial site visit is extremely flexible. From 7am on a Saturday morning to 10pm on a Friday evening, we are always available to visit at a time that suits you, 7 days a week.

The Architectural Process

The Process 

Site Survey
We will visit the property as soon as we are able to. This will allow us to perform our site survey where we will collect the necessary data from your property such as pictures, measurements and boundary lines.

Design Stage
The information collected from the site survey is then forwarded onto one of our design team, who will then produce the first draft of plans and have them back to you within 10 working days. Our designer will work closely with you to get the plans to an ideal design stage and ready to submit them to the council. 

Submission of Application
Our experienced administration team will determine which application is required to be submitted to the council then gather all necessary documentation to accompany the submission. The application process can take up to 10 weeks depending on how busy your particular council is at the time of submission. 

Building Regulations
Once approval is received from the council we will start work on the building regulation plans that are used by your building contractor and building control.

Building Control Application
Upon completion of your building regulation plans we will forward these to our engineer to produce calculations for any steel to be used within your design. We will also submit your application to building control so you are able to start construction work as soon as possible.  

The Build
Building control will visit the site throughout the construction phase to ensure your build meets UK building standards and we will liaise with your building inspector throughout to ensure the build progresses as smoothly as possible.

The above process will typically be around 3 months before construction may begin. This includes; drawing time, council applications and building control applications.

The Build Process
Once you have gained planning permission, it’s important to ensure that the build is carried out correctly and to meet that of the agreed plans. We are always on hand to assist and can help you choose the right builder for your project.

The Build
At this point you have gained planning permission, received all relevant documents, drawings and calculations and are ready to instruct a builder to commence construction. Although our service is now complete, we are always contactable for any questions, queries or general advice you or your builder may have during the build process and ensure our building regulation drawings are approved by Building Control.

Choosing the right builder for your construction can be a difficult decision, with the worry of maintaining a strict budget coupled with the stories of so called ‘cowboy builders’ is enough to make anybody feel uneasy.
